Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants

The Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) is the national accountancy body of Singapore. ISCA’s vision is to be a globally recognised professional accountancy body, bringing value to our members, the profession and wider community.

Established in 1963, ISCA shapes the regional accountancy landscape through advocating the interests of the profession. Possessing a Global Mindset, with Asian Insights, ISCA leverages its regional expertise, knowledge, and networks with diverse stakeholders to contribute towards Singapore’s transformation into a global accountancy hub. Our stakeholders include government and industry bodies, employers, educators, and the public.

ISCA is the Administrator of the Singapore Qualification Programme (Singapore QP) and the Designated Entity to confer the Chartered Accountant of Singapore – CA (Singapore) – designation.

It aims to raise the international profile of the Singapore QP, a post-university professional accountancy qualification programme and promote it as the educational pathway of choice for professional accountants seeking to achieve the CA (Singapore) designation, a prestigious title that is expected attain global recognition and portability.

There are about 28,000 ISCA members making their stride in businesses across industries in Singapore and around the world.

The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Singapore

The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Singapore is a professional organisation dedicated to the advancement and development of the internal audit profession. Established in 1976, members of IIA Singapore belong to a global community of more than 180,000 professionals in over 190 countries who share a common vision to advance their professional growth in internal auditing and add value in their organisations.

Our 2,200 members work in internal auditing, accounting, risk management, governance, compliance, internal control, information technology audit, education, and security.

Institute of Banking and Finance

The Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) was established in 1974 as a centre dedicated to the training of the Singapore financial sector workforce. In 2001, IBF repositioned itself to focus on a broader and strategic role of developing a robust and forward-looking training infrastructure for financial services and to promote active industry involvement and collaboration in continuing education matters. With the endorsement of the MAS and WDA, IBF became the national accreditation and certification agency for financial industry competency under the Financial Industry Competency Standards (FICS) framework. IBF also administers the Capital Markets and Financial Advisory Services examination series, facilitates the provision of Continuing Education Programmes for Trading Representatives, and maintains the FinanceConnectSingapore website to profile Singapore’s financial sector.

Singapore InfoComm Technology Federation (SiTF)

Singapore infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF), established in 1984, is Singapore's premier (Information, Communications and Media) association comprising corporate members; ranging from local start-ups to establish MNCs. SiTF advocates for the industry and helps to promote and accelerate the adoption ICM technology. To help members to gain access to insights and opportunities, we offer valuable platforms and programmes to expand business and networks.

  • Voice for our members – we have regular dialogues with government on issues and concerns impacting members' abilities to do business.
  • Market creation – we have programmes such as MatchIT & PartnerIT which assist members to seek new opportunities and partnership in both local and overseas markets.
  • Promotion of Technology Innovation – we promote innovations with platforms such as SiTF Awards to help raise the awareness of the companies and their innovations.
  • Enhance Industry Capabilities and Productivity – we provide training & upgrading programmes to help members to build competency. We have strategic programmes with IDA such as PPPO to help organisations to productise and to improve their productivity.

The Singapore Computer Society, established since 1967, is a premier professional body for infocomm practitioners and users. The Society provides a wide range of events such as seminars and conferences, publications and access to an invaluable network of specialists. Today, having a membership of over 26,000, the SCS is the largest local infocomm body with membership representative of the infocomm community.
