The working interview

At Robert Half, we know that every business is different – with different working conditions, different cultures and different requirements for each individual temporary assignment. We take pride in providing you with the most qualified and professional candidates to fit your talent requirements.

As a part of all temporary placements, we can also offer the ‘working interview’ to save you time and get your job filled as quickly as possible. This simple four-step process works like this:

Step 1

Following discussions with you about your requirements, Robert Half consultants will select the best candidate and send them to you for a 'working interview'.

Step 2

During this working interview, they will work for a certain period of time (usually 1-2 hours) so you can assess factors such as their technical skills, work ethic, and how they fit within the team.

Step 3

You then provide your feedback to the Robert Half consultant and if you are satisfied with the candidate’s performance, they will remain on the temporary assignment with you.

Step 4

If you are not completely satisfied, simply notify us and we will promptly find a replacement. You will not be charged, however we will pay the candidate for the hours they have worked.

This is our guarantee that we will get you the right person, the first time.
