Join a reputable energy MNC for a newly created Assistant Financial Controller position. You will look after the overall financial governance, internal controls and management of their APAC cluster. You will deliver a reliable forecast of CAPEX spending vs budget, engage effectively with the key stakeholders, drive new processes and initiatives, and perform various exciting projects and policies.
You will engage closely with the key stakeholders in reporting, observing the operational cost, CAPEX spending control, notifying trends, endorsing measures to resolve and recommend actions to close gaps while looking after the CAPEX spending, ensuring alignment with the budget. You will establish a plan to monitor the internal controls, initiate process improvements in the region, ensuring full compliance with group policies, recommending improvements in financial controls and establish fixed asset policies across the region.
To be a successful candidate, you must have a Degree in Accountancy with 12 years of progressive finance and management accounting experience including initial audit exposure within an MNC. You must have strong people leadership and interpersonal skills to influence and business partner effectively with key stakeholders in the region. Experience in ERP systems and technical savviness in MS Office are highly desirable technical skills.
