This is an excellent opportunity to join a US MNC with impressive growth across established and emerging markets. Due to evolving business needs, they have a newly created Pricing Manager role to be based in the Singapore office.
Reporting to the Pricing Director and dotted line to the CFO, you will be performing daily tracking of devices values and market trends and estimating the expected values of current and future devices, including forward pricing. Work closely with the business and global analytics to provide forecast accuracy and market trends. This includes analyses on projects, KPI impacts such as sensitivity analyses, forecast trends for devices, markets, etc. Perform comparison of corporate sale values to external market data to assess accuracy and performance. Map market and history of devices by OEM, age of device, capacity and condition of device, and using historical data of market to price the future value of second-hand devices according to these categories. Provide forward looking monetisation (resale value) curves for the purpose of pricing, business cases, budgeting and forecasting. Work closely with APAC CFO and frequent interactions are also required with different departments, as well as with senior management teams in the APAC region.
To qualify for this role, you must have a professional Degree in Accounting, Finance, and Engineering or related and is ideally a CFA with minimally 7 years of relevant pricing or corporate planning/strategy experience gained from large organizations. It is necessary to be proficient in Microsoft Office suite especially Excel. We are looking for a strong communicator and an excellent team player who is pro-active to drive deals and results.
