Our client is a global general insurance brand with an excellent presence across Asia. You will be joining the Finance team of 6 other professionals and be responsible for Financial Reporting across the Singapore office.
The Finance department at this insurance brand are responsible for providing financial support, with a particular focus across accounting, cash management, tax, group reporting and regulatory reporting. The successful hire will have a main focus across MAS Reporting, which will include the production of related compliance returns and financial statements to Lloyd's Asia. Furthermore, you will act as the key finance contact to liaise with Lloyd's on all regulatory matters and attend the appropriate meetings when required. The hire will also assist in finance projects and initiatives such as IFRS 17 and will prepare all reports required for the Financial Controller and CFO.
Our client are looking for an individual with roughly 5-8 years of Finance experience working for a General Insurer, or related Big 4 experience as long as you've had GI exposure. The candidate will have a degree in Accounting and have solid prior MAS reporting exposure which will include previous liaison with Lloyd's Asia. To be qualified for the role, you will have excellent communication skills which will include written and spoken English and you will be a motivated, self-starter that fits in well into a team environment.
